Deep‐Ultraviolet Nonlinear‐Optical van‐der‐Waals Beryllium Borates**

چکیده

Following our ab initio nonlinear optical (NLO) materials design guidelines, in this Letter, we discovered a novel type of structure to realize potential deep-ultraviolet (DUV) NLO performance the classical beryllium borate system. By densely stacking NLO-active layered frameworks, key scheme for structural evolution from (Be2BO3F2) layers KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF) (Be2BO5H3) berborite is illustrated. Based on available experimental results and systematical theoretical evaluation first principles, properties are further obtained as comparable only pratical DUV crystal KBBF. It demonstrated that can achieve phase-matched output with strong effect practically important 177.3 nm 193.7 lasers. Once sizable single crystal, it be applied promising crystal.

Boric Acid and Borates

Boric acid and its chemical relatives are pesticides that are derived from the element boron. Boron rarely occurs alone and is typically found in combination with other elements; common combinations are boric acid or borates.1 Unlike many pesticides which are synthetic compounds,2 boric acid and related pesticides are naturally occurring compounds.1 Boron compounds are widely found in rivers, s...

compared with those ofboth the general population and a cohort of viscose-rayon workers. Ratios of observed to expected deaths for lung cancer in the two industrial populations (65 observed) were found to be elevated in both comparisons (1.4 in respect of both the general population (95% confidence interval (CI), 1. 1 1.8) and the viscose-rayon workers (1.0-2.0)) and tended to be concentrated i...
